Coach Tuan reveals official list of players for training in UAE
VOV.VN - Hoang Anh Tuan, head coach of Vietnam’s U20 football team, has announced a list of 25 players who will travel to the UAE to take part in a training camp ahead of the U20 Asian Cup finals in Uzbekistan in March.
The squad includes plenty of familiar names, including Cao Van Binh, Nguyen Van Truong, Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Quoc Viet, Nguyen Dinh Bac, Ho Van Cuong, Dinh Xuan Tien, Tran Nam Hai, Nguyen Phi Hoang, and Bui Vi Hao.
Among them, Khuat Van Khang and several players will gather with the team after the Round 4 of V.League 2023 finishes. According to the schedule, the Vietnamese team will play a friendly match against Saudi Arabia on February 15 before taking on Dubai FC on February 23.
Vietnam, one of the five second-placed teams with the best results in the qualifying round, will be in Group B with Iran, Australia, and Qatar.
They are set to play their first game at the Asian Cup against Australia on March 1, then Qatar on March 4, and Iran on March 7.
