Children from SOS villages receive coaching from Manchester City FC staff

VOV.VN - Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank worked in co-ordination with Manchester City FC to hold the Young Leader Football Festival which was open to children from SOS villages across Vietnam on June 28.

The festival targets 240 children aged between 8 and 16 from SOS villages in Hanoi, Viet Tri, Haiphong, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, and Vinh.
In total, 70 separate sessions will be held for both boys and girls of all ages.
The festival aims to create a fun environment for children this summer and strengthen solidarity through community activities.
Pham Thi Mai of SOS Haiphong says  she is delighted to take part in the festival alongside friends. She enjoyed having the chance to practice technical football skills and hopes to take part in any future events.
The children receive instructions and support from the Manchester City coaches.
A range of activities on the sidelines of the festival took place to keep the children entertained and motivated, including facepainting.
The girls are just as eager as the boys when it comes to competing.
