Canadian cyclist wins Vietnam Victory Challenge 2016

The second international off-road bike race, Vietnam Victory Challenge 2016, ended in Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on March 13.

Canadian rider Cory Wallace won the men’s professional event. Second and third place went to Cambodian rider Shey Ha Sang and Vietnam’s Phung Van Loc from Military Zone 7, respectively.

The Vietnamese rider had won third place at VVC 2015, too.

In the women’s category, Sarah Kaufmann of the United States claimed first place. New Zealander Erin Green came in second, followed by Katherine Teubner of the United States.

The competition, in which 175 Vietnamese and foreign cyclists participated, took place in Da Lat City and Lac Duong District from March 11 to 13.
