Australian field hockey teams to play in HCM City

At the invitation of the Vietnam Hockey Federation, the Australian field hockey men and women teams will be in HCM City from March 31 to April 7 to promote field hockey in the country.

A contingent comprising 30 male and 30 female hockey players, coaches and officials will participate in a seven-day hockey tour.

On April 1-2, there will be hockey matches against the Vietnam men’s and women’s teams at the Vietnam Hockey Centre located in Ben Luc town in the southern province of Long An.

The Singapore Crescent team and Saigon International Hockey Club based in District 2 in HCM City will also participate in the hockey matches.

The Australian men’s hockey is ranked No 1 in the world and the Australian women’s is in the top 4 in the world.
