VOV.VN - The latest AFC U-17 Asian Cup standings, updated on the morning of April 14, show Vietnam level with Indonesia at the top of Group A after both teams won their opening matches.
Both sides have three points and a goal difference of +4. Vietnam beat Malaysia 4-0, with goals from Le Sy Bach (a brace), Nguyen Van Duong and Nguyen Manh Cuong.
On the same day, hosts Indonesia played their opening match against Timor-Leste. Facing a much weaker opponent, the home side dominated proceedings and secured a 4-0 win.
Following the first round of matches, Vietnam and Indonesia share top spot in Group A, both on three points with a +4 goal difference (four scored, none conceded). Timor-Leste and Malaysia sit bottom of Group A with zero points and a -4 goal difference.
In the second round, Vietnam will face Timor-Leste, while Indonesia will face Malaysia on April 16.
