AFC praises Minh Chuyen ahead of Women’s Asian Cup 2026

Chuyen has traveled to Australia with her teammates to prepare for the continental tournament.
At the 2026 Women's Asian Cup, the Vietnamese women's national team will feature a mix of experienced players who have participated in the World Cup, as well as a group of promising young players. Their goal is to surpass the group stage and compete for a World Cup 2027 qualification spot.
Vietnam have been drawn into Group C alongside Japan, India and Chinese Taipei in the continental tournament. It will take place from March 1 to 21 in Sydney, Perth and the Gold Coast, with the top two teams from each group and the two best third-placed sides advancing to the quarter-finals.
Vietnam will play their group-stage matches in Perth, facing India on March 4, Chinese Taipei on March 7 and Japan on March 10 at Perth Rectangular Stadium.
