2,500 local, foreign runners race in Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2023

VOV.VN - Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2023 got underway on April 2 at Cuc Phuong National Park in the northern province of Ninh Binh, drawing the participation of 2,500 Vietnamese and international runners.

Among the participants are 120 foreigners from 26 countries and territories globally, including France, Belgium, China, the United States, and Japan, among others.

They competed across five categories over 10km, 25km, 42km, 70km, and 100km.

The race was held at Cuc Phuong National Park which was the winner of Asia's Leading National Park title by World Travel Awards in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Racers also ran through several communes in Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa provinces.

The race is expected to provide opportunities for runners to learn more about reservation activities, and broaden their knowledge about environmental protection in the local area.
