VOV.VN -About 60 per cent of online tickets, equivalent to 24,000 tickets, for two upcoming matches against Thailand and Indonesia in the qualifying rounds of the AFC U23 Championship 2020 have been sold out, according to Can Van Nghia, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Vietnam are scheduled to play Indonesia at 20:00 on March 24 and Thailand at 20:00 on March 26.
Nghia said that ticket sales for the opening match against Brunei on March 22 are very low with Brunei being considered as a very weak team who will offer little in the way of competition.
He said the VFF will continue selling tickets online. If the tickets are still available one day before the matches, the VFF will begin to sell the remainder of tickets at a counter outside the My Dinh National Stadium.
He also noted that security for the upcoming matches will be strict, especially when it comes to the burning of flares and use of fake tickets.
Nghia added that Next Media have bought the rights to broadcast all fixtures involving the Vietnamese team in 2019, with the media firm paying a record price of VND5 billion for the rights.
