10,000 tickets sold in 15 minutes ahead of Vietnam-Thailand tie
VOV.VN -A total of 10,000 tickets for the upcoming clash between Vietnam and Thailand in the Asian zone’s second qualifying round of the World Cup 2020 sold within 15 minutes.
The match will also mark the debut of Thailand’s newly-appointed head coach Akira Nishino.
Of the total, only 2,244 tickets have been allocated to Vietnamese fans with tickets set to go on sell from 10:00 on August 19. In order to purchase tickets, Vietnamese fans will have to show their passport and pay 650 baht (VND488,000) for a seat with each fan able to purchase a maximum of four tickets. As the away fans, Vietnamese team supporters are to be seated in one of the stadium’s corners.
Despite these prices for Vietnamese fans, Thai supporters will be able to pay just 500 baht (VND375,000) for a ticket in stand A, 350 baht (VND262,000) for a ticket in stand B, and 200 baht (VND150,000) for a ticket in both stand C and stand D.
