1,000 local and foreign runners to join Vietnam Highlands Trail
VOV.VN - Nearly 1,000 Vietnamese and foreign athletes are set to participate in the Vietnam Highlands Trail – Lam Dong 2025, slated for November 21-22 in Da Lat.

The event themed Back to Nature is organised by the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province and NEXUS Media Joint Stock Company.
According to the organising board, the race aims to showcase Vietnam’s spectacular trail routes to the world while highlighting the unique natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Lam Dong, a province in central Vietnam. It is expected to help position Vietnam as a rising destination on the global trail running map.
Participants will compete in three race distances: 10 km, 25 km, and 50 km, navigating famous landmarks throughout the course. All race categories are certified under the UTMB Index (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc World Series) and the International Trail Running Association (ITRA), enabling Vietnamese athletes to earn points toward qualifying for prestigious international trail running competitions such as the UTMB Mont-Blanc in France.
The race offers more than just a physical challenge. Runners will experience the province’s breathtaking pine forests, vibrant maple groves, and iconic mountain peaks where nature’s beauty meets local legends, creating a deeply cultural and memorable journey.
