Youth volunteers line up to help administer high school exams

VOV.VN - Youths wearing blue shirts who have volunteered to assist in administering the 2017 National High School exams can be spotted just about everywhere in the capital city of Hanoi these days.

The youth volunteer tasks are to help motivate and guide the students who are taking the exams June 22-24 so that they can perform at their best.

An estimated 860,000 high school students nationwide are setting for the exams.

Many students sitting for the exams (and parents in some cases) cannot hide their anxiety.

The youth volunteers take on the task of trying to help ease the pressures on the test takers.

Volunteers help guide traffic, provide free water and counselling, and so on.

The efforts of the volunteers help put many students and their parents more at ease.

The blue shirts are always present at congested hot spots near the test sites.

The privacy of test scores is a time-honoured tradition at the exams.
