Young overseas Vietnamese welcomed home
Every Vietnamese youth living overseas is an ambassador to the nation, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said while receiving an overseas Vietnamese delegation in Hanoi on July 17.
Thirty Vietnamese youngsters, mostly students, from 24 countries around the world have been in the homeland to attend the 2013 Summer Camp.
Nhan told them to behave in a friendly manner and to work well for the benefit of their countries of residence as well as their homeland.
He also asked them to pay more attention to studying, speaking and writing Vietnamese.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the summer camp for overseas Vietnamese to travel around the country and learn more about its history, traditions and customs.
