VOV offers financial support to COVID-19 fight

VOV.VN - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) donated VND300 million to a fund in support of the nation in its ongoing fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on June 4 at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee in Hanoi.

Vu Hai Quang, vice president of VOV, expressed his hope that the donation would help contribute to efforts being made by both the Party and the State to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Do Van Chien, president of the VFF Central Committee, displayed sincere thanks to VOV for their contribution in aiding the country.

He went on to praise VOV’s great efforts in informing people nationwide to grasp the current pandemic situation, along with implementing the recommendations regarding pandemic prevention and control set out by the Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, June 4 also saw the VFF receive VND500 million from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, over VND500 million from the Ministry of Justice, and VND2 billion from Muong Thanh Group.
