Vinasun launches taxi app in Danang
Vinasun Corp has announced a mobile app that allows passengers in Danang City to book a taxi.
Le Nguyen Ngoc Quynh of Vinasun Corp said the Vinasun App can be installed in iOs-, Android- and Windows-based devices.
Once a passenger uses the app to book a taxi and enter the place of departure and destination, the company will send the nearest taxi to the user's location as well as provide him/her with information related to planned route, estimated fare, cab’s number, cabbie’s number, name and photos.
In case passengers call taxi operators instead of using the app, Vinasun’s system will send an SMS with similar information to them.

“If a passenger leaves some belongings in a taxi, he or she can easily get it back because all information related to the taxi and its driver is saved in the app and in the company’s system,” Quynh said.
“Passengers could also ensure that the cabbie doesn’t drive around to increase fare.”
After the trip, passengers can also evaluate taxi service via the new app.
Vinasun accepts payment via Visa, Master, ATM and Vinasun cards, coupon and cash.
The company will later launch the app in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria Vung Tau.
