Vietnam's first living donor lung transplant succeeds

For the first time Vietnamese doctors successfully performed a lung transplant from two living donors. The transplant was conducted at the Military Hospital 103, in co-ordination with doctors from the Vietnam Military Medical Academy and Japanese experts.
The Military Medical Academy announced on February 22 that the first lung transplant with the lung donated by alive persons has been conducted successfully in Vietnam.
