Vietnamese students in Thailand embrace 'Five-Good' spirit, promote integration

The Vietnam Students Association in Thailand organised an event at King Mongkut University in Bangkok on September 21 to celebrate the new academic year.

The gathering, aimed at welcoming new Vietnamese students in Thailand and launching the 2024-2025 academic year's activities, drew participation of representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Bangkok, and various business leaders.

Over 30 new students joined their peers from across Thailand, with the event highlighting the association's commitment to fostering student engagement and community support.

Association President Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep emphasised the group’s ongoing role in connecting and supporting Vietnamese students throughout Thailand. In addition to studying, they have been actively involved in the “Five-Good” student movement, volunteer activities, physical fitness, and social integration.

Minister counsellor Bui Thi Hue at the Vietnamese Embassy praised the students' dynamism and contributions, encouraging them to continue the tradition of learning and cultural exchange. She urged new students to acquire Thailand’s advanced education and return to contribute to Vietnam’s development.

Founded in 2017, the Vietnam Students Association in Thailand has grown significantly, connecting Vietnamese students across the country.
