Vietnamese students in Japan celebrate Tet

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese student community in Osaka, Japan got together on January 29 to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

The event is hosted by the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Osaka (VYSA Osaka).

Around 130 Vietnamese students in Japan and international friends join the party.


They prepare Banh Chung (square glutinous rice cake), Nem (spring roll) and Banh Cuon (steamed rice pancakes rolled with pork and mushroom).

Playing folk games.

The Vice Consult, Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, Mr. Nguyen Van An grants a certificate of merit to the Vietnamese students and hails their great contribution to the VYSA Osaka community.
