Vietnamese Embassy in France marks int’l women’s day
(VOV) - The 103rd anniversary of International Women’s Day was celebrated at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in France on March 6.
The event was attended by Vietnamese diplomats, representative from mass organizations and the Vietnamese community in Paris.
Ambassador Duong Chi Dung highlighted the important role of Vietnamese women in both family and society as a whole.
The Vietnamese women have made significant contributions preserving and developing the glorious tradition of the nation, and their constant efforts to render the best services to the nation while fulfilling their family duties are undeniable, he said.
Dung encouraged all women present at the meeting to help upgrade the ties of Vietnam-France friendship and cooperation to the level of strategic partnership.
