Vietnamese drone Hera set for global tech stage at XPONENTIAL 2026
VOV.VN - Hera drones developed by Real-time Robotics Vietnam (RtR), will be showcased at XPONENTIAL 2026 in Detroit, USA, one of the world’s leading events for robotics and unmanned systems.
The appearance of Hera, created by Dr. Luong Viet Quoc, founder and CEO of RtR, marks a significant step as Vietnamese technology expands into international markets.
In Vietnam, Hera was awarded the Gold Prize for Outstanding Strategic Digital Product at the ““Make in Vietnam” Digital Technology Product Awards” 2025, organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, becoming the only drone to receive the honour.
According to Fox News, XPONENTIAL 2026, organised by the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), is scheduled to take place from May 11 to 14 with the participation of more than 8,500 experts, businesses and policymakers.
Beyond product showcases, XPONENTIAL serves as a global networking platform where emerging trends in artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, supply chains and policy are widely discussed.
The event also features specialised programmes on defence, security and autonomous technologies, with exhibition space spanning tens of thousands of square metres and drawing large crowds.
