Vietnam wins medals at World Math and Science Competition in Indonesia
VOV.VN - Vietnamese students have brought home a number of medal in their first engagement in the 2024 World Math and Science Competition (WMSC) held recently in Bogor, Indonesia.
Thirty-four Vietnamese students took part in the competition taking place in Bogor from November 1 to 4.
Notably, four students from the bilingual system of MAY Academy secured a bronze and two silver medals in the individual Science category at the Middle Primary level.
Even more remarkably, in the team category, Vietnamese students collectively won almost all of the highest team titles, with two first prizes and a second prize.
These achievements not only demonstrate the students’ abilities in Science and Mathematics but also reflect the spirit of teamwork and the collaborative skills of Vietnamese students on the international stage.
The World Math and Science Competition (WMSC) is an international event that aims to promote excellence in Mathematics and Science among students aged 10 to 17 from around the world.
