Vietnam wins four silver medals at International Informatics Olympiad
VOV.VN - All four Vietnamese students have clinched four silver medals at the International Informatics Olympiad 2021 virtually held by Singapore, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.
The four Vietnamese students to win silver medals included pair Truong Van Quoc Bao and Nguyen Hoang Vu, both of whom are 11th graders from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted in Nghe An province.
The other two silver medalists were Le Quang Huy, a 12th grader from the High School for Gifted Students of the University of Science under the Vietnam National University-Hanoi, and Ho Ngoc Vinh Phat, a 12th grader from Quoc Hoc Hue High School.
Most notably, Quoc Bao and Quang Huy also won gold medals at the Asian Informatics Olympiad 2021.
This year's International Informatics Olympiad has been hosted by Singapore through an online platform due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
