Vietnam wins 7 gold medals at “Challenge for Future Mathematicians” contest
VOV.VN - All 48 Vietnamese pupils won prizes, including 7 gold medals, 16 silver medals, 20 bronze medals and 5 consolation prizes at the 5th Challenge for Future Mathematicians (CFM) contest, which was wrapped up in Indonesia on October 30.
Pham Duc Hieu (Grade 5) from Doan Thi Diem championed at the Mathematics Game Competition.
In addition to individual awards, the Vietnamese delegation bagged team prizes at different ages.
The annual mathematics contest has been held in Asian countries since 2014 with the aim of exchanging information, initiatives and latest applications related to mathematics across the world.
This year’s contest was held for primary and junior secondary pupils in Bogor, Indonesia from October 27-30.
