Vietnam, South Africa cooperate in health care

During the visit, leaders from South Africa’s Department of Health provided guidance on how to strengthen Vietnam’s health systems and infrastructure, ensuring that they are well coordinated and high-quality.

The South African leaders applauded the Vietnamese healthcare sector’s achievements over recent years, especially noting the high-calibre skills of Vietnamese doctors, and praise worthy healthcare cooperation between Vietnam and African countries.

During their visit in South Africa, the Vietnamese delegation also visited a number of hospitals and healthcare facilities that are equipped with the latest  modernised high-tech equipment at the capital city of Pretoria and Western Cape province.
