Vietnam raises national flag atop Fansipan mountain
VOV.VN - On January 13, State President Tran Dai Quang took part in a ceremony raising the National flag atop Fansipan mountain, the highest peak in Indochina, at 3,143 metres.

The ceremony was also attended by members of the armed forces and their family members. |

In accordance with standard protocol the national flag is raised briskly and left to unfurl in the wind, while all present face the flag silently with those in uniform saluting. |
