Vietnam protests cyber attacks in any form and stays ready to cooperate with the international community in the issue, said the Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang.

About the information that recent cyber attacks target websites of countries’ government agencies, Hang stressed that in the current situation, the guarantee of information security and safety are very important and necessary for all countries.

Being aware of that, the Vietnamese Government has issued a number of policies and guidelines and taken specific measures to ensure information security and safety, contributing to protecting national sovereignty on cyber space, she said.

She added that the Vietnamese Government also established capable specialised agencies that are ready to actively cope with every risk on cyber space, prevent and deal with acts of attacking and threatening cyber security.
