Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards 2024 winners announced
VOV.VN - Twelve individuals and organisations were honoured with the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards 2024 (VCA 2024) at the awards ceremony in Hanoi on September 27.
They were selected from nearly 300 submissions, with the animation category making up nearly 30% of the entries, indicating that animation is increasingly developing and becoming a significant part of the digital content creator community.
This year’s awards introduced several innovations in the regulations, including a new category for “Inspiring Digital Content Creators,” based on community voting combined with the award criteria. Additionally, the presentation format was expanded for two categories Outstanding Video/Short Film and Outstanding Animated Video/Film.
“The submissions for this year’s awards have seen improvements both in quantity and quality. We can observe the creativity and passion each author brings to their topics, along with the clear impact of the awards within the digital content creation community in Vietnam,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Lenh Hung Tu, chairman of the preliminary council and president of the Vietnam Cinema Association.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, president of the Vietnam Film Development Association, shared that the judge council of the final round had to engage in thorough discussions to select the most deserving works and authors, given the impressive quality of the submissions.
Nguyen Minh Hong, president of the Vietnam Digital Communication Association, stated that the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards 2024 has contributed to the development of the digital content industry, inspiring a strong community of digital content creators and leading to the creation of many Vietnamese digital products that reach the global market, thereby contributing significant value to Vietnam’s digital economy.
The VCA is an annual award organized by the Vietnam Digital Communication Association (VDCA) and managed by the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA). The event was first held in 2023.
