Vietnam deports 14 foreigners for illegal entry

VOV.VN - The police of Ho Chi Minh City have recently coordinated with relevant agencies to deport 14 foreign citizens who had illegally entered Vietnam.

The number of foreign citizens illegally entering Vietnam has been on the rise over recent months, according to the HCM City police.

Most of these entrants colluded with some Vietnamese people to illegally cross the northern border into the country.

They then caught buses to Ho Chi Minh City to look for a job or to continue to travel to Cambodia.

Even though they knew it was a violation of the law, they attempted to enter Vietnam in the hope of finding a well-paid job.

The Ho Chi Minh City police have so far this year expelled a total of 47 foreigners for illegal entry.
