Vietnam Airlines receives 4-star official airline ratings honors

VOV.VN - The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced on September 28 that it has been awarded a 4-star global airline rating by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) at APEX EXPO recently held in the US city of Boston.

The non-profit organization APEX has regularly conducted surveys on passenger experience to improve the quality of in-flight catering services over the past 40 years. The criteria for attaining a 4-star airline rating is based on seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverages, entertainment and Wi-Fi, areas in which Vietnam Airlines has massively invested to improving their quality in recent times.

The national flag carrier offers an extensive menu to its passengers, including Vietnamese delicacies such as Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) and a variety of fruit such as lychees and longans. In-flight entertainment programs have been increased to more than 100 films and music programs and 200 TV programs to meet customers’ increasing demands. Business class passengers can relax in luxury with comfortable seats and a private space.

Earlier, Vietnam Airlines were certified as a 4-star airline by the UK airline and airport rating organization, Skytrax for three consecutive years and received prestigious awards from TripAdvisor and at the World Travel Awards.
