Vietnam Airlines adjusts flight schedule due to typhoon Ragasa impact

VOV.VN - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced further adjustments to its flight schedule on September 25 as typhoon Ragasa continues to bring complex weather conditions.

According to the carrier, flights to and from Tho Xuan Airport in Thanh Hoa province will be rescheduled, with all take-offs and landings shifted to between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. In addition, all services on the Ho Chi Minh City – Tho Xuan route have been canceled for the day, including flights VN7270, VN7271, VN7274, VN7275, VN7278, and VN7279.

At Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong city, flights will be adjusted after 6:00 p.m. Vietnam Airlines flight VN1176 from Ho Chi Minh City will now depart at 4:30 p.m., with the return leg VN1177 set to leave Hai Phong at 7:05 p.m. Pacific Airlines has also revised its schedule, rescheduling flight BL6440 for 9:15 p.m. and BL6441 for 11:55 p.m.

On the Da Nang – Hai Phong route, flights VN1670 and VN1671 will now depart at 5:00 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. respectively. The airline cautioned that other domestic and international services may also face disruption depending on the storm’s path.

Vietnam Airlines advised passengers to regularly check updates via its official website, mobile app, or customer service channels for the latest information.

Typhoon Ragasa is forecast to make landfall on September 25, unleashing heavy rain across northern coastal provinces. Authorities in the region have been urged to maintain a state of high alert and ensure readiness for immediate response.
