Vietnam aims to enhance national cybersecurity in digital era

Vu Quoc Thanh, Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the Vietnam Information Security Association, said “An international conference on information security will be held as part of the event with a focus on the government’s vision and its future direction in ensuring  national information security and cybersecurity.”

“On this occasion, an information security monitoring system will be launched to serve the e-government. This year’s Information Security Day will be held on the largest scale to date,” Thanh added.

An exposition will be organized on the sidelines of the conference to introduce technological solutions by leading international and domestic groups in IT and information security.

The 2-day event, the 12th of its kind, is organized annually by the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communication’s Information Security Authority and the Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Center (VNCERT), as well as the Cyberspace Operation Command of the Ministry of Defense.
