US Navy officers visit Da Nang SOS village

VOV.VN - A group of US Navy officers and crew members of aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson got together with and presented gifts to children at Da Nang SOS village on the morning of March 6.

US Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Mary Tarnowka and more than 100 US Navy officers and sailors join the get-together.

The event starts with art performances presented by SOS village children and US crew members.


A dance presented by the SOS village’s children.

Sailors enthusiastically sing and dance.

Officers and sailors take part in team games, play football and talk with the children to gain a better understanding about their lives.






Nguyen Quang Thai, director of the village, presents two pictures to the US Consul General.
