Two Vietnamese universities make first appearance in QS Global MBA Rankings
VOV.VN - Vietnam has, for the first time, two private universities listed among the world’s top business schools in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2026, announced on September 17 by UK-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

British University Vietnam (BUV) in northern Hung Yen province is placed in the 251-300 group worldwide and 43rd in Asia, while VinUniversity in Hanoi ranks in the 301+ group globally and 52nd in Asia. Vietnam is also one of only 15 Asian countries with universities featured in this year’s rankings.
Both schools scored highly in Class and Faculty Diversity, with VinUniversity receiving 75.1 points and BUV 69.6 on a 100-point scale. BUV, however, outperformed in areas such as Return on Investment and Employability, while VinUniversity led in Thought Leadership.
QS is one of the world’s three most influential university ranking organizations, alongside Times Higher Education (UK) and Shanghai Ranking Consultancy (China). The QS rankings, first launched in 2004, followed the inaugural global university ranking released a year earlier by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, later managed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy.
