Two more coronavirus patients discharged from hospital
VOV.VN - Two coronavirus patients were discharged on April 19, bringing the country’s total number of recoveries from the country to 203.
Both patients are Vietnamese citizens and are in their 20s. They were hospitalized in late March and confirmed to have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes the COVID-19 disease.
During treatment, the two patients had responded well to the therapy and progressed substantially, said doctors at the general hospital of the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu.
They have at least twice tested negative, meeting the criteria for discharge from the hospital.
They will be required to self-isolate at their places of residence for an additional 14 days according to regulations.
As of 03.pm on April 19 Vietnam had cured 203 COVID-19 patients.
