Two injured in Hanoi shopping mall explosion
VOV.VN - Two people were injured in an explosion of unknown origin that happened at Savico Mega Mall in Hanoi’s Long Bien district on November 20 morning.
The explosion occurred at around 6:30 am at the dining area of Savico Mega Mall, and two people suffered minor injuries, confirmed the police.
Photos at the scene show the ceiling of the shopping mall had partially collapsed. Building materials, glass pieces, and billboards fell into the escalator on the first floor.
Due to the incident, a number of stores inside the shopping mall had to temporarily stop accepting visitors on November 20. The wedding centre of Savico Mega Mall also cancelled events as scheduled.
Relevant agencies launched investigations into the cause of the blast.
