Two Chinese nationals arrested for stealing VND400 million in Da Nang
VOV.VN - The Criminal Police Department of Da Nang City Police announced on August 19 the arrest of two Chinese nationals currently under investigation for property theft in the city.

According to initial reports, on August 16 police received a complaint about a burglary at a house on Le Quang Dao Street in Ngu Hanh Son Ward. The homeowners stated that, upon returning from work around 3:00 p.m., they found the second floor ransacked, with numerous valuables missing, including VND400 million in cash, jewelry, and luxury handbags.
Police quickly examined the scene and launched an investigation. By 9:00 p.m., a task force coordinated with the Da Nang Aviation Security Centre at Da Nang International Airport to apprehend two Chinese nationals, Xia Feiyang, 19, and Zhang Haoran, 17, as they attempted to flee the country. All stolen property was recovered.
At the police station, the two Chinese nationals confessed that, together with another Chinese national, Wang Meng, 35, they had planned and executed the burglary. Wang Meng, identified as the mastermind, remains at large.
The police are actively pursuing Wang Meng and completing the case file to carry out legal proceedings.
