Two bronze medals for Vietnam at ICPC Asia Pacific Championship
VOV.VN - Two Vietnamese teams have surpassed competitors from several top regional universities to claim bronze medals at the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia Pacific Championship, which concluded in Singapore recently.

The teams are BKDN.Arcane from Danang University of Science and Technology and HCMUS-AtCoder from the Faculty of Information Technology- University of Science under Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City.
Given their outstanding performances, the two medal-winning teams secured spots to qualify for the 2025 ICPC World Championship, scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from August 31 to September 5.
As an annual competition for university students from around the world, the ICPC is a multi-tiered competitive programming event during which teams of three work to solve real-world problems. It aims to foster a spirit of collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure, according to the ICPC’s website.
The first ICPC World Championship was held in Atlanta in 1977.
