Tropical depression appears in East Sea
VOV.VN -On the morning of July 30, strongest wind power near the tropical depression’s centre is estimated at 50-60 km/h, packing winds of 8-9 category, according to the Central Hydro- Meteorology Forecasting Centre.
The center of the tropical low pressure is situated at 13.3 N latitude and 126.6 E longitude from the waters east of the central region of the Philippines.
In the next 24 hours, the tropical depression is forecast to move north west at a speed of 20 km/hour and is likely to grow into a storm.
On the morning of July 31, strongest wind power near its centre storm will be 10 and 11 category, packing winds of 9 category. In less than 48 next hours, the possible storm is moving north west at 20 kph and is predicted to be stronger.
Additionally, due to the south west monsoons, there will be whirlwinds and heavy rains in the southern part of the East Sea including the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago and coastal areas of Binh Thuan and Ca Mau provinces.
