Toyota Vietnam Fund launches drawing contest

(VOV) - The Toyota Vietnam Fund (TVF) and the Ministry of Education and Training’s Department of Primary Education have launched a primary school student drawing contest themed “Desired Car”.

The drawing contest, TVF’s third, began on January 6 as part of the annual “Toyota and I Learn Traffic” programme running since 2005–2006.

The contest asks students to “draw the car of the future”. Organizers hope to educate as well as inspire participants to “let your imagination run wild”.

The first round will award five first prizes, five second prizes, 20 third prizes and 70 encouragement prizes.

The best nine drawings will be submitted for consideration in Toyota’s 8th international contest in Japan. Winners have the chance to experience an August sightseeing tour of Japan during the lead-up to the official awards ceremony.

A number of Vietnamese students who participated in the 2012–2013 contest finished in the top 30. Thousands of paintings were judged from children in 70 countries and territories all over the world.
