Another feeding whale delights visitors to Nha Trang Bay
VOV.VN - Visitors and locals in Nha Trang enjoyed a rare spectacle on July 28 as a whale was seen feeding near Mun Island in Nha Trang Bay, southcentral Khanh Hoa province, marking the second such sighting in just one week.

According to Tran Van Phu, a representative of the Nha Trang Bay Management Board, the whale appeared on the surface surrounded by a flock of seabirds diving for scraps, creating a spectacular scene on the open sea.
Phu noted that the whale’s return is not only a rare natural phenomenon but also a vivid sign of the improving marine ecosystem, reflecting the success of ongoing conservation and management efforts.
In recent years, Khanh Hoa has carried out a comprehensive plan to restore the marine ecosystem in Nha Trang Bay. This includes stricter protection of the Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area, closer monitoring of tourism activities, and tighter control over marine resource exploitation, all geared toward fostering sustainable ecotourism in harmony with nature.
The Management Board has also advised tourists to maintain a safe distance when observing marine wildlife and to avoid any actions that could disturb the animals.
