Tourists enjoy holiday in Quang Ninh as storm dissipates

VOV.VN - As storm WIPHA spread across Quang Ninh province on the morning of August 3, Ha Long city saw little rain, with many tourists returning to Bai Chay beach in order to swim and enjoy their vacation.

With Bai Chay beach being more than 3km long, it is often crowded during the weekends. The morning of August 3 saw the usually busy beach quiet.
Rainfall was severely reduced from 9am on August 3, with tourists beginning to wander on the beach.
Despite the wind and rain, tourists take a plunge into the cold sea.
Young people are eager to enjoy their vacation following the storm weakening into a tropical depression.
Both adults and children enjoy playing and bathing in the sea. Bui Minh Hang from Hanoi says she finds the atmosphere fun because there are fewer people on the beach during a storm, while it is also cleaner.
 
 
Rescue forces are on hand to remind tourists to avoid dangerous areas.
Some tourists choose not to go in the water, preferring to enjoy the fresh air instead.
Women on the beach take photographs to remind them of their trip.
Foreign tourists express their regret at travelling to Halong city during storm WIPHA.
More and more tourists begin to show up on Bai Chay beach.
 
Heavy rain hit the area at 10am, causing lots of people to leave the beach.
The Bai Chay tourism complex seem to be as busy as on normal days.
Tourism boats move from areas of shelter to the ports of Tuan Chau and Bai Chay to prepare to receive new passengers.
