Three Vietnamese universities make QS Sustainability 2023

VOV.VN - A total of three Vietnamese universities have been listed in the QS Sustainability 2023 as compiled by British education company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

This latest list announced by QS on October 26 sees Vietnam National University in Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) and Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) ranked among the 801 to 1,000 group, while Ton Duc Thang University is among the 1,001 to 1,200 group.

Of the three, VNU-HCM ranks 365th place, the highest position given to a Vietnamese university in the Employment and Opportunities criterion of Social Impact Measures. The university was also placed in the 501+ group in the Sustainable Education criterion.

The first edition of the QS Sustainability 2023 rankings largely focuses on social and environmental sustainability performance among higher education institutions.

Indicators are split into various environmental sustainability measures, including sustainable institutions, sustainable education and sustainable research, and social impact measures comprising equality, knowledge exchange, educational impact, employability and opportunities, and quality of life.
