Three Vietnamese nationals arrested for organising illegal border crossings
VOV.VN - Police in the southern province of Tay Ninh on April 21 arrested three Vietnamese nationals for helping a local resident illegally cross the border into Cambodia.

The suspects were identified as Nguyen Ngoc Anh, 46, from Ho Chi Minh City; Dao Van Hung, 42; and Nguyen Van Han, 46, both residing in Tay Ninh province’s Tan Bien district.
According to initial investigations, Ngoc Anh, who worked at a restaurant in Cambodia, was hired via the Telegram app by an unidentified man to take a Vietnamese national, T.N.T, from Tan Lap market in Tan Bien district to Cambodia for VND9 million.
Ngoc Anh then contacted Hung, a motorbike taxi driver operating near the Xa Mat international border gate, and paid him VND3.5 million to help T.N.T cross the border via a trail. Hung brought T.N.T to a motel in Tan Bien and hired Han to take the person across the border for about VND1.7 million.
The attempt was foiled when local police caught Hung and Han in the act. Upon learning of their arrest, Ngoc Anh turned herself in to authorities.
