Three Chinese nationals detained for illegal entry into Vietnam

VOV.VN - Border guards in the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang have apprehended three Chinese nationals attempting to enter Vietnam illegally.

According to the Quang Long Border Guard Station under the Cao Bang Provincial Border Guard Command, the Chinese individuals were spotted and detained by the law enforcement agency on September 9 while they were walking from the area near border marker 893 into Vietnamese territory.

Upon being stopped for inspection, they admitted to having illegally entered Vietnam through the border with the intention of seeking employment. At the time of inspection, none of them were able to present valid immigration documents.

The individuals were Chu Hui (born 2002, from Hunan Province), Chen Hong (born 2007, from Yunnan Province), and Zhang Hou Sheng (born 2008, from Jiangxi Province).

Authorities are currently finalising the necessary procedures to repatriate the individuals to China in accordance with border regulations.
