Three A/H1N1 flu patients in Tien Giang discharged from hospital
VOV.VN - Three A/H1N1 flu patients were discharged from hospital and isolated for observation in their families on June 5, according to the Preventive Medical Centre under Tien Giang province’s Health Department.
Earlier, the HCM City Pasteur Institute announced four clients from Tien Giang province were tested positive for A/H1N1 influenza after a medical examination at Tu Du hospital in HCM City. The institute has requested the provincial medical sector to closely monitor the infected cases and treat these patients in isolation.
The female patient and a suspected A/H1N1 case are still under treatment in Tien Giang provincial polyclinic and showed positive symptoms of recovering. The provincial medical sector has taken drastic measures to combat the disease.
Dr Le Dang Ngan, deputy director of the Preventive Medical Centre requested the infected people to go for medical examination at hospitals for timely treatment, wear face masks and limit contacts with the community. He also advised people to get vaccinated and intensify personal hygiene, and clean rooms to prevent the virus from spreading.
