Thirteen killed in Ha Giang landslide
VOV.VN - 13 people were killed with four others critically injured, and two missing after a passenger coach was buried by a landslide triggered by heavy rains in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang on the morning of July 13.

According to initial information from the scene, at 4 a.m. a 16-seater passenger coach carrying a group of people from Ha Giang to the northern province of Cao Bang along with a seven-seater vehicle were traveling on National Highway 34 when a landslide occurred.
As the passenger coach was trapped by the soil and rocks, three people from the seven-seater car managed to get out of their vehicle to help push the coach out of the danger zone.

Unfortunately, another suddenly landslide occurred, burying all of the people and the passenger coach.
Upon receiving news of the incident, rescue teams were mobilised to the scene. By 9:15 a.m. they had managed to extricate 15 people from under the debris, with eleven people being found dead and the other four being critically injured.
The rescue teams are continuing to look for more victims.
