Thailand unveils special stamps on weekend

The Rex Hotel in downtown HCMC will play host to a free-admission exhibition of commemorative stamps of Thailand and Vietnam on September 24-25 on the lobby level.

The event is jointly held by the Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the HCMC Union of Friendship Organizations.

It aims to give the public an opportunity to take a close look at the special sets of stamps which Thailand and Vietnam issued in May this year on the occasion of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The opening ceremony took place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on September 23 at the Rex Hotel at 41 Nguyen Hue Boulevard in District 1, HCMC.
