Tech Innovation Vietnam-Laos 2023 to promote technology transfer
VOV.VN - Universities and businesses of Laos and Vietnam are expected to take part in a joint tech innovation expo due to be held in Vientiane, Laos, on April 4 – 5.
Tech Innovation Vietnam-Laos 2023 will comprise six main activities, including an exhibition featuring 40 booths on technological products from both Vietnamese and Lao sides.
Seminars on technology connection, start-up, and innovation will also be held, with Truong Hai JSC of Vietnam that is investing in Laos to make a presentation at the event.
Furthermore, the first Vietnamese language class at the UCL - IICT Vietnamese friendship training centre will get underway.
Addressing a press conference in Vientiane on March 21, Lao Minister of Science and Technology Prof. Dr Boviengkham Vongdala emphasized that the event aims to connect Vietnamese innovative technology researchers and developers with Lao government agencies and the business community in the neighbouring country.
The expo is expected to give stakeholders the chance to meet and discuss research, application and development of science and technology in key sectors in Laos, he said.
