Summer camp to remind overseas youth of their national origin

As many as 200 young Vietnamese people abroad will return to the homeland to join the Vietnam Summer Camp 2013 this month, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (COVA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on July 3.
Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the COVA, said this is the 10th Vietnam Summer Camp, aims to provide young overseas Vietnamese with an opportunity to learn more about the nation’s origin, history and culture.
From July 11-30, participants will attend various activities such as offering incense at the Hung Kings Temple in Phu Tho province, visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi, and having exchanges with young people in Ha Giang, and Thanh Hoa provinces and Danang City.
