Summer camp for Vietnamese adolescents in Czech Republic

(VOV) - A summer camp was held in the Czech Republic for adolescents between 10 and 20 by the Vietnam Buddhist and Women’s Associations on August 22-25.

Diverse activities took place during the five-day summer camp including drama, story-telling, art performance and camping.

Vu Thi Ha, President of the Vietnam Women’s Association in the Czech Republic said the summer camp will help young Vietnamese residents in the country exchange information and understand about the Vietnamese culture. It will also be a chance for them to practise the Vietnamese language and learn the communication way of Vietnamese people.

The annual event has been organised for the last seven consecutive years with the participation of around 120 adolescents. Its educational efficiency has been highlighted by the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic.
