Storm Sarika weakens into tropical pressure
Tropical storm Sarika, the seventh of its kind this year, weakened into tropical pressure on October 19, reported the National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting.

At 10am, the wind speed at the eye of the storm reached 50-60km per hour.
In the next 12 hours, it is forecast to move north-northwest at a speed of 15km.
As of 2pm on October 19, the northern province of Quang Ninh which was forecast among localities to be hit by Sarika, reported no damage.
Slight rains and winds hit several eastern districts, said the Office of the provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue.
At 10pm the same day, the strongest gale in the centre of the pressure is predicted to move below 40km per hour.
The centre warned that heavy and moderate rainfalls will continue affecting northeastern provinces.
According to the National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, super typhoon Haima was about 360km distant from the east of Luzon island, the Philippines, as of 10am on October 19, bringing sustained winds of 200-220km per hour.
In the next 24-48 hours, the typhoon will move west-northwest at a speed of 20-25km per hour.
In the next 48-72 hours, it is forecast to change direction to the north-northwest, moving 20km per hour.
